Dr. Morter and Dr. Epstein both chiropractors. Maharaji a great philosopher. Most of all, my daughter Gita. I was a widowed single parent and Gita, only 3 at the time, made me believe I could do it. Everyone would absolutely benefit from having the interference to their normal functioning released. What is your favorite expression that sums up health and well-being? I grew up in Harwood, North Dakota. My parents were just great they always encouraged me to think for myself and to expand my horizons. I earned my Bachelors degree in Biology and Chemistry at the University of Mary and N.D. State University. These majors gave me the pre-requisites needed to pursue all avenues of the healthcare field. I earned my Doctor of Chiropractic at Logan College in Missouri. When did you become interested in chiropractic? During college, I was an exercise physiology assistant and I noticed that athletes who were seeing chiropractors were healing faster than the ones who were seeing physical therapists for the same condtions. Who influenced you most during your chiropractic education? Dr. Fred Carrick in my opinion, the most brilliant mind in chiropractic. His understanding of the human nervous system taught me how important a role chiropractic has on its function. Why does chiropractic work? Chiropractic works by removing the interference to the nervous system. This interference, caused by stress, injury, poor nutrition, etc., blocks our natural healing process. Does everyone need chiropractic? Everyone is affected by stress. It is stress that interferes with our nervous system and healing processes. Chiropractic helps to relieve the negative effects of stress so that we may live with greater health. What is your favorite expression that sums up health and well-being? You are what you eat, think and feel. What is the one thing that everyone should know? What people are searching for has always been within them. back to top |
